Cops claimed that field tests showed the white powder on the hood of the Georgia State QB’s car was cocaine. He said it was bird poop. He was suspended, and widely ridiculed by national media outlets.
Guess what? It was bird poop.

> Guess what? It was bird poop. That may be the case, but the article you link to doesn't remotely say that - merely that charges aren't be pressed. Is there an article that says it was poop?

You are skeptical of the wrong things, since the idea it was cocaine on the hood of car in motion makes no sense Anyway here’s your article https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/08/09/young-black-football-player-was-arrested-after-claiming-cocaine-his-car-was-bird-poop-it-was-bird-poop/ …

1) I'm not skeptical of it. I am quite convinced that the cop was wrong and it was bird poop. 2) my point was "that article did not say that it was poop" 3) neither does the article you linked to facts and citations matter

You said: “doesn't remotely say that - merely that charges aren't be pressed.” It sure sounds like you’re doubting it wasn’t drugs, for some reason. The last article quoted the lab, it wasn’t a controlled substance. If that’s not enough, you have some other problem. K kthxbye

you're reading my words accurately but somehow reaching a bizarre conclusion if you flip a coin a hundred times and tell me "there were some heads and some tails", I am SURE that you are correct but if you then show me a different coin THAT IS NOT PROOF OF YOUR STATEMENT

you do understand the distinction between (a) saying a thing that is true, and (b) saying a thing that is true but making a terrible / false argument to "prove" that truth, right?

"No controlled substance was found." It was stated in the linked article more than once. Isn't that the relevant information?

which is not the same as "Guess what? It was bird poop. ", which is what @radleybalko said.
You want my guess? yes, $20 on "it was bird poop".
...but so far no one has actually cited facts to back that up.
