1/ Had some good news. As you know, I used to lift, but ~6 years ago a few small things happened (raided by the Joint Terrorism Task force, charged with felonies, small business imploded, declared bankruptcy, moved to farm, got married) that distracted me. So stopped, got fat.

2/ So now I'm 2/3 of the way back down to my old weight, and I've been back in the gym for ~6 months. So that's good. But certainly my lifts are worse now than they were ~10 years ago, bc * still overweight * almost 50 * 6+ years away from gym

3/ But I found my three ring binder of lifting logs (well "found" - it's been in the gym area this whole time. I just chose to flip back and look at older pages). Turns out ... I might actually be at my lifetime best?!?
