Went out to walk the grounds post lunch. About 1/4 of the garlic was ready to harvest...so I harvested it! Camera battery needs to be recharged, so no pix (yet). Anyway: didn't buy garlic from store last year; won't buy it again this coming year. Life is good.

More than me lol How do you get them to keep so long though? Mine (dry, RT, dark) start sprouting in storage. Do you root cellar them or just ignore the green spurs and move right along?

Last year they lasted about months before failure. I freeze some.
