Ok, so I have a stone & concrete(s/c) foundation wall that I'm going to be building up a cordwood wall ontop of. I was thinking of bringing up the S/C another 12-18" and setting rebar into it for extra strength to the cordwood above.

ok, cool * clean the surface of the existing foundation off of any dust, dirt, crumbled concrete. Wire brush by hand, maybe. * I'd buy or rent SDS Max roto hammer with a 1/2" bit, drill holes straight down into it every 4 or 8 feet * get 1' or 2' long rebar, epoxy into holes
