2/ OK, "BRAAAAAIIINS!!!!!" beats "nah", 77% to 23%. It's going to be a Mary Sue. ...but I'm not staring in it. My old office building where I ran Smartflix and Heavyink, in the Boston suburbs is It was an old police station before we moved in (really!), and it's zombie proof

5/ Good news: I've got 500 words done. Bad news: that's just the outline Worse news: ...and I'm not done with the outline yet. Whew, lads, let's hope I can keep this in short story size ( < 7,500 words).

6/ 700 words of outline 800 words of story It's flowing easy, and I'm having a ton of fun. Guessing from the current expansion ratio of outline words : story words, it's going to come in at around 6,000 or 7,000 words (i.e. 24-30 pages). Hoping to finish first draft < 1 week
