Like on your ankle or on the back of the shoe? I’ve used electrical tape on the back of the shoe for this before but it looks pretty derpy

you just buy a big box of the medium sized ones and wear them lengthwise on heel, with white pad at pointiest part of back of heel. change daily. better than every specialty product which are mostly glorified bandaids anyways

100% yes. I have wide feet w longest second toes and one foot half size larger than other, they’re just soft wool, can fit anyone I imagine

I have one pair of custom-ordered shoes that still have that exact problem and have been leery since then about ordering custom shoes online and lazy about going somewhere to get measured/discuss with the actual cobbler

I'd make time to go and discuss and get measured in my experience true craftsman RELISH challenges bc they get to show off the depth of their skill / problem solving mail order is probably losing 90% of the relevant / niche / particular info you need to share
