/ The claim was not "this policy is a good one". The claim was "there is literally no argument against it". So - devil's advocate - let's generate an argument against it!

/ Do girls have a right to compete in girls-only chess teams for scholarships? How about girls-only academic ranking? Does a white Anglo girl have the right to compete in academics only against non-Jewish non-Asian girls for class rank / SAT scores ? why / why not?

/ If we want to create defined bands where no one has an "unfair advantage", then let's look at the skinny low-muscle (low-T ?) kid. Why do we put him in the same wrestling league as high-T kids? Why do we put the chubby kid in the same running league as the skinny kid?

/ If we want to be "fair" then we should only compare the 1600 SAT kid against other 1600 SAT kids. We should only compare the really excellent long-limbed runner against other really excellent long-limbed runners. So we get to "Everest regressions".

/ So here is my argument ("there is literally no argument" !) for why the girls who lost out on scholarships should suck it up: there is no natural default right to compete in a field of competitors who are handicapped in a certain way, but which leaves you at top of the pack

/ If the girls who are forced to compete w high-T boys who identify as female is unfair, then the C student who is forced to compete w the 150 IQ Asian kid for a scholastic scholarship is unfair.

/ And it is unfair! Life is unfair! You're not the best at ANYTHING ...and won't be unless we restrict the group a CRAP TON. What we're seeing here is the lucky 1%, sparing not a single thought to the 99% they beat, but upset that a new 1% has been imported ahead of them.

/ This is just an administrative decision. No one decision is more fair than another. Any decision for drafting bracket definitions picks the winner, or picks the small pool from which the winners will be drawn.

/ ...and as we all know, the sovereign chooses the null hypothesis (Acts of MM 4:23-25) This is a question of power, not of "fairness". ...because "fairness" does not exist.
