This is the story of my life, maintaining the maintainers. Replace the belt in the Bridgeport head so I can mill a hole for the bandsaw coolant pump, so I can saw a bar to replace the DRO spacer, so I can drill cross holes for the bandsaw blade guides, so I can do my job.

It’s a handy thing to have, but it’s usually more accurate to lock the quill, take a measurement, and bring the knee up, than bringing the quill down.
