I'm tempted to say "always use a torque wrench", but I almost never do. (except for putting AR-15 barrels on) On the bright side, I know the trick about MIG welding a nut onto the stub of the broken bolt...

LOL...the welder has bailed my ass out too many times to remember. Works good on broken taps in very expensive parts too.
