Nine princes in amber is good although fantasy instead of sci-fi. The Long Earth is neat but has weak characters/plot. There’s a lot more inter dimensional trade and stuff in Ward, the sequel to Worm.

There’s one Rec I could make but it will be spoilers. If you don’t mind comics Top Ten by Alan Moore has inter dimensional trade and is great

If you don’t mind weird sex and a combination of sci-fi and fantasy I legit think Piers Anthony’s Apprentice Adept books are pretty cool.
