"Integralism and social conservatism are unpopular" Not the point. If you want a Benedict Option-style truce where the feds and companies leave social cons alone, truces have to be negotiated between sides that have less to gain from fighting than from not fighting.

In other words, truces have to be obtained by fighting. You are more likely to get a truce after successfully destroying some woke company than by begging them, "please please don't ban me! think of the First Amendment!"

Regulating big tech is not really about how we want the companies to look or what regulations are best, nobody really cares about that. It's about showing them that they have to negotiate with the 40-percent-ish of the country they don't need to be responsive to right now.
