eh, define "full" I aim for the keto goal of < 50g carbr/day. I hit it 5 or 6 days per week.

I mean I don’t care about your metabolism that much haha, just actual keto state as a goal seems different to me than flexible low carb high fat thing that seems increasingly popular (that is sort of our default)

That 50g thing is just a guideline to the inputs that are likely to cause you to enter ketosis state, which may or may not be accurately determined by pee strips etc

I get the sense that real keto advocates are annoyed by the loosened manner of speaking and they’re not wrong that ketone burning is a real distinct thing, but it’s nothing to me.

yep I've got some keto strips. When I have 60g carbs I get a "you are in moderate ketosis"; when I have 0g carbs, I get the same. I mostly don't bother with the strips, and just aim for the <50g. /shrug Mostly I track calories, carbs, weight, and as long as weight drops...
