5/ As a note on that: the politics are going to take a bit of a swerve in 3 and 4. All the politics of 1 and 2 will still be present, but there'll be more focus on other addition c̶h̶o̶i̶c̶e̶s̶ threats. In this way it will be a bit like

6/ or Kim Stanley Robinson's Three Californias trilogy. Both of those series were loosely coupled and thematic, showing different alternative worlds. Ari 3 and 4 will keep the same world but show things sequentially.
