No, there IS no monopoly on shipping, especially in the last mile delivery and special cargo. It is very fragmented.

It’s unclear what form the monopoly would take, but what you often see in supply chains is alternative layers of monopoly and commodity. So if you see a commodity with no monopoly layer on top, code one up.
