My point was that Judaism has a genetic component, and that's why there's a wikipedia page (which I linked to) which lists genetic diseases that Ashkenazi are susceptible to. But you jumped into this thread. What's YOUR point?

No one said that there is a "Jewish gene". It's true that an Eskimo, a Nigerian, or a Vietnamese can convert to Judaism and truly be a Jew. That does not, however, mean that "There is no such thing as 'genetic Jewishness' " is a true statement.
