questioning, correctly, the right of the officer to physically force her out of the car - justifies the officer drawing his gun and threatening to kill her. So he felt disrespected. So what? Was there any evidence she was a physical threat to him? Contempt of cop is not a crime

I mean, I'm sure you can say that I'm being utopian; but seriously, police do not do this kind of thing to anything like the same degree in other countries. I think it's OK to expect officers to not respond with the impulsivity of toddlers.

I don't trust that this is the case. I think that people get ticketed for trivial reasons, and black people more than most. If she were white, she may not even have been stopped in the first place. ...

Describing it as "mouthing off" assumes it's rude to tell someone who's violating your rights that they're violating them, but that's necessary for a free society. She didn't use profane language. She didn't threaten him. He threatened to kill her and got physical with her.
