Any kind of remote solution is going to lose a lot of the aesthetics of in-person play with physical objects. Not to mention things like "Well, on *my* table they're just barely out of range, you must have moved yours too far last turn!"

the ideal thing is to have the full thing located in both places perhaps in my table, my models are real and yours are blue squares, and reverse on yours not ideal, but vs "not playing at all"... and, yes, I'd already though of " 1/16th of an inch, which also compounds" issue
