Adopting a new freezer container labeling method after so many prior ones proved unsatisfactory for various reasons:
a) Food goes in cheap plastic containers
b) Container gets labeled with a Sharpie
c) To erase, use isopropyl alcohol

Got a small bottle half-used from some other purpose (now done); keeping it under the kitchen sink. Considered a sprayer, but just dampening a paper towel from the bottle seems to work well. If I go through that much that fast, I'll reconsider. Not expecting to.

We go through so much we buy it in 4 packs of gallon jugs @ 99% and dilute as needed. I keep 75% in spray bottles for cleaning/degreasing.
