Haha it works though. Best is when you're slowly coasting up to a red light, it turns green, and you + the whole echelon of cars behind you immediately accelerate & are all through ASAP while the lane beside you putters through piecemeal one after another

To really piss them off, point out that it's coming whether they want it or not, with the advent of autonomous vehicles. The first consumers will undoubtedly be operators of fleets, and the fact that they always obey laws and act predictably will cause them to act as pace cars.

Small numbers of autonomous vehicles will probably end up doing more for smog than anything the socialists have ever tried to do with laws just by eliminating the major causes of congestion.
