I'd like for you to be right, but i don't think you are. Fencing prices go up linearly as area enclosed goes up to the second power. Feed prices give discounts for bulk. 40 hr / week staff easier to hire than 5 hr. Etc.
Your entire argument started with the fact that the government ALREADY DOES. At this point I'm not sure what you're arguing. I'm going to bed.

I'm arguing that state interference causes pastured product prices to be artificially high and industrial ag prices to be artificially low. Sans state interference I believe pastured could be cheaper or extremely competitive despite economies of scale.

I also pointed out that industrial ag is a commodity, which means you pay commodities market price and that's it. This contrasts w/owning entire value chain from field to customer where you have more control over how product goes to market which means more control over pricing.
