Whenever I stand in front of the eggs section at the store I see the difference in prices and then imagine sick, dying chickens crawling over eachother in a cage and immediately drop all qualms about buying pricey pastured eggs.
Feed lots are economies of scale. Much less labor to truck in machine harvested corn than to do mob grazing and restring electro fence every day.

No way. I work on a grain farm and there is so much more work and energy that goes into creating the industrial structure necessary to feed cattle grain. New mob grazing techniques require like an hour of moving fence posts around.
