I've already read it and thought about this at some length. I guess it depends on how far south the glaciers move; we already know how deep they might become.

The new normal would likely include >80% of the world's population dying off, as the bread basket of the world (America) would no longer be able to produce enough food and less developed countries would simply starve.

Depends in large part on the political response and if such a move would be allowed. Agriculture COULD be moved. Whether it would or not is different. I do not have faith in elected officials.
