One summer I was home and it was 100 degrees and very humid. A fence in my Dad’s horse paddock needed immediate repair tho. We drove his truck to it and left it on with AC to get into every few minutes.

Even then it didn’t take long in the heat to feel fuzzy headed. At one point I dropped a wrench twice in a row, it just left my hand while I was looking at it. My Dad was red faced, leaning on a post, kind of blank eyed. We called it a day.

At one point some coworkers had to put a torpedo heater on the engine deck to warm it up enough to start in Nebraska in December because the fuel was gelling. We tested stuff in all conditions.
