1/ If you make your Patreon-alternative available to other creators, you may find takers. However, you will still be bound by the politics of the payment processors. Could be worth a try though considering your skill set. There's been pent up demand for alternatives.

2/ Also, I'm not sure you'll make a profit on Patreon (or alternative) but it's worth a try. It could also be useful in keeping the "Aristillus" brand alive while you get breathing space to write the 3rd and 4th books.
