I was actually in Arts college. Double majored History and CS (which you can do in Arts).

I did a pure math degree. Which was, in terms of applying the exact stuff I learned, at least marked as 'utterly useless in the real world' up front. But it kept me distracted while suffering my way through high school, and damn but it taught me to *think*.
