3/ I've absolutely noticed that when you shop at times of day when competent people (who are employed) are at work, the aisles get much much harder to navigate e.g. 2pm on a Tuesday is when alcoholics, disabled, pensioners, unemployed, and other incompetents get their groceries

I agree. Those who are more competent choose to avoid those who are less competent. There’s probably significant correlation of competence with relative values of time and money, as well.

Wow, yeah, very interesting, didn’t even think of that. Very possible. I could see this, most people I know who are probably in the top 1-5% in competency/success are using those services, at least in the city. Not sure about surbubia, but also very possible.
