I’ll be honest. Knowing before hand how much work you’d put into them and your own expectations; I was a little nervous about reading them. What if they were too ranty or full of tropes. Turns out they were brilliant.

What’s more, is that having interacted with you online for so many years I was able to see in some passages what you were furring to, and found myself thinking “yes, he’s talking about X”. Although a new reader wouldn’t have lost anything by not knowing it.
