Perhaps I'm missing your point. The difference between conspiracy to murder and felony murder isn't just one of terminology or categorization. There's good reasons why we might want to punish one more harshly than the other.

my point arises in conversations with bleeding hearts, who argue "OMG, they're punishing Leroy for murder, even tho he never even touched a gun!!!" what'd he do then? "well, he picked the victim and drove the gunman there, but he only intended to rob him" ok, and problem is?
