At a guys retreat one time, came downstairs from a nap and was asked if I'd dated a stripper too. To which I responded, "Are you insane!? Who would do that?" Apparently half the group there. Their annecdotal evidence matched yours.

*gestures to the strip club mid-Wednesday line-up * There is NO noticeable change in the rates of deadbeat/missing/abusive fathes in this data set compared to the norm. My paper has been peer reviewed by several hobos. I will be awaiting my 6 figure research grant award.

(I am skeptical of all studies but especially in social science) This finding seems plausible to me. I think you're mentally comparing porn actresses to "normal" people, rather than to the actual general population (who are in large part shitty people with shitty lives).

someone else has already pointed out that this is a self-selected sample, and it's self-reported "data", so I think that to actually engage with the points that you raise (which are, in general, coherent and plausible) is to waste time polishing a turd.
