      disorder is a social construct there is no "disorder" in a state of nature nature doesn't care if a baby wolf is born with a heart outside of its rib cage; nature just has the pup die. we humans care, tho

      This is fatuous. Something lethal to the individual is objectively a disorder. In the absence of objective harm, I'd defer to individual's judgement of the abnormality's desirability to say whether or not it's a disorder, no matter how society might want to construct it.

          You could probably make a case for that being "objectively harmful". Failing that, I'd be hard-pressed to imagine anyone with such a condition not desiring to be free of it, given the choice.

          We know that deaf people are often sort of Stockholm syndromed, upset at the idea of children who can hear. People are complicated. They often fall in love with flaws, bc change means changing self-image. I'm fine w people THINKING whatever they want. ...but...
