Or another way of looking at this: the US *produces* ~14% of carbon emissions, but what share of emissions do we *consume*?

My dad is a moderate boomer Republican. Tried to carbon-shame me for my big house. I refused his frame, asked about his THREE houses, three cars, boat, and vacations to Europe. He insisted 1 big house was worse. I dug up figures. He refused to believe them. >>>

then, to spike the ball, I pointed out that my 40 acres of carbon sequestrating trees CONSUMED 20x the carbon he spewed every year.
