Accidentally had just 1,800 calories yesterday instead of target 2,700 because (a) @LibertyFarmNH 's Tom Yum was so delicious and filling I didn't notice until later is was a mere ~400 cal (b) when I got hungry again at 9:30pm I was too tired to stand up and go to the fridge.

Once you restart your ability to run on fat (CR is one way of doing it) a deficit won't be that much of an issue. Also: sleep ! Don't know how much sleep you get (and quality of sleep), but it's an often overlooked point. And ur mind can fool yourself thinking "it's enough"

yeah, I've been keeping carbs < 50 g /day for a week or so now; I suspect I'm in keto. Will get keto stix to verify. Used to get 5-6 hrs sleep. Since diet started, 7-8.
