@MorlockP I'm on a bear sci-fi kick, Gordon Dickson's Dilbia series including "The Right to Arm Bears" and Poul Anderson's Hoka series. But I'm done :-(
Got any feel-good sci-fi suggestions?
Feel good, you say?
I'm an ancap, so I find anything where the good guys win and get freedom to be a feel-good book.
Have you read The Peace War by Vernor Vinge?

Don't think so, I think only True Names, Rainbow and Deepness. I love my original copy of True Names! I'll dig up more Vernor Vinge, thanks!

Peace War is good. Maybe great. It's followed by a short story The Ungoverned. Which is followed by Marooned in Realtime. All are good, the short story is maybe best.
