2/ Today is already largely there. breakfast: eggs(f), sausage(f) lunch: pot pie: turkey(f), mushrooms, leeks, puff pastry, turkey stock(f) dinner: pork chop(f) ...but I can do better!

3/ I had a good onion harvest in 2017, kinda screwed things up in 2018 ... but hoping to do well again in 2019. (I love onions...and they're not insanely low carb, but they're not potatoes)

4/ so anyway, I've got a good storage variety of onions that I've done well with one year - if I really fire for effect in 2019, I can maybe go through most of the year on those. maybe give broccoli a shot this year, and do staggered planting?

5/ this is ... a very interesting idea. Gonna sit on it for a bit, but in general I very much like "forcing functions". Also, maybe this is the year I get 50 or 100 meat chicks, raise them, and then do a massive slaughter / process run?
