2/ "Such programs would have to guard against leaving deserving students behind" So, yesterday, these free-market alternatives didn't exist and served no one. Today they are starting to exist and serve thousands...and this is ALREADY PROBLEMATIC because maybe 1 kid is missed.

3/ This is an example of "Heisenberg Morality" - a bad thing (e.g. homelessness, lack of educational alternatives, etc.) can exist, and THE COMPASSIONATE CLASS does absolutely nothing about it ...but if you fix 5% of the problem you're Hitler for not fixing the other 95% too.
