There's a book called "Jefferson's PIllow" by a lefty Black academic that talks about some of the founding fathers in relation to slavery. I heard him in an interview saying he came away more impressed with Washington and less so with Jefferson. Which plays to my priors...

I don't get that. I get a "the less I know people, the more I love them" vibe. Like most spergs. He liked the French Revolution bc he loved the mass of people IN THE ABSTRACT. He wanted them to have power.
