Right. I know I could write and edit a full book every 2-3 weeks if this was a full time gig, I could produce 15 books a year easy.
If you choose to associate your name with the quality of work that's possible to generate on that schedule...well, it's your reputation. I certainly wouldn't do it.

Based on reader & editorial feedback, my books have only been getting better, so I’m fine with it at this point. Most likely I’d need up doing 4-5 100k+ books a year, with some short fiction, other stuff, in between.

Yep. But there's quality work and there's ... other work. I grant that in a MARKET SENSE, maybe one can write very very very fast and generate XYZ, and people will buy XYZ. But I wasn't talking about the market. I specifically said "associate your name with the quality".
