1/ I haven't got a drop of Korean blood in me as far as I know, yet I make budae jjigae better than any I've ever ordered in any restaurant (and I live in a predominantly Korean immigrant community) What's my secret?

2/ Between the Japanese occupation starting in 1910 through MacArthur's shitshow of a war, Korea had a tough time feeding her citizens, including soldiers in the field. Fresh produce was scarce, protein more so.
