Some thoughts about financial responsibility. I came from nothing, and if I wanted to eat, I had to earn some money that day. In college, I ate 3 fishsticks for dinner each night. It was all I could afford. 1/
hahaha I guess I wasn't the only one at Cornell pinching pennies. Last two years, a noticeable percent of my meals were 1 can of Campbell's tomato soup, diluted with 2x water to fill my stomach

I got a job at Cornell Catering as beverage manager. We always had tons of leftovers after affairs, which I would glom up.

For me it was doggie bags. A good date would feed me three times, so I learned the restaurants that had the biggest portions & I'd suggest those when guys took me out. All through '85 and '86 I had a sugar mama, which helped a lot.
