I have students whose perspective of the Challenger and 9/11 is "contemporaneous". (That's elementary school vs. college for me). They're starting college next year.

Two different interpretations of "parachute pants". The early '90s models were hugely baggy, also known as "Hammer pants". The early '80s version were derived from flight suits, with lots of zippered pockets. And were often worn delightfully tight.pic.twitter.com/onqZlYrYml
