Fired up the wood "boiler" yesterday to heat the house...and...it's hot, but it's not heating the house. Tentative theory: the pump that recirculates water is broken. Motor is fine (I heat it spinning) but maybe impeller is stuck. Plumber confirmed, over phone, theory as likely.

my dad has a similar setup. Often the impeller cartridge itself can be replaced without replacing the entire motor. He replaces the impeller every two years or so. Last year we did the motor as well due to a short.
