HUN 6 will almost certainly be mid October 2019, but not formal date will be set for 6+ months

It will be the most based HUN yet. I am fine delegating the actual cookery (I'll do butchery/prep) to
@firearm_fan if he makes it.1 reply 0 retweets 6 likes -

a thought: we went w pig cooking bc it requires less hands-on care than spit roasting. ...but maybe we have enough labor / interest that spit roasting is the win? I'll buy a spit (w motor) if so...

If we just have half the people who passed this year and already said yes for next year come, we're at 30-35, not including new attendees... I think we likely have enough labor/interest in a spit.
@firearm_fan is the expert, though, and I defer to him on all things BBQ.1 reply 0 retweets 6 likes -

Or we could just do a pit with multiple birds instead of a sheep. That would be really easy once they're plucked.

Pig may be too much meat for the size of our party, given the amount of leftovers we had from a sheep this year. I think we learned a lot about this process for next year in terms of coal quantities, cook time, and prep time.
