But you know us [[[Boomers]]] we love the crock pots. And I feed my 94 yr old neighbor dinner. She gets super excited when I tell her it’s a “crock pot night”. I guess at 94 she wouldn’t be able to tell if I made the food in an instapot

It literally has a crock pot function if you insist on cooking it at turtle speed

And you can cook directly from frozen. It does literally everything a Crock-Pot does, can do it all faster and better, and do about twelve other things a Crock-Pot can't (like awesome hard-boiled eggs, BBQ ribs, cheesecake, etc.) Amazing value from a two-figure appliance.

I distrust these modern conveniences. Cooking should be hard! Cook on a spit over a smoky fire || GTFO. (I expect Boston "Fire pit" DelendEst to back me on this)

I’m pretty spoiled. I plan the menu, shop for the food. Then I tell my guy, the main cook here, what I want and he makes it. I do the dishes. This system works for us. We also grill out a lot. Even in the winter.

I menu plan and generate the shopping lists. Wife cooks breakfast and 1/3 of dinners, I do the other 2/3, then we do dishes together.

That’s a good system too! I’m much more of a picky eater than my guy. He eats “gourmet” when he travels.
