Ideally I would start every day with black coffee and an hour of lifting weights while my butler reads the best tweets of the night to me

low-rent labor : $10/hr high rent labor: $30/hr butler for 2 hrs/day, 7 days/week: $22k/yr assuming 6% returns on stock market, investment of ~ $300k provides this in perpetuity

I would need to pay at least a bit more than that because I don’t keep a consistent schedule so it won’t be the same hours every day

you'd be ashamed NOT to lift if your butler was told to expect it "oh, hey ... uh. .. just read the tweets today while I mope on the couch" not gonna cut it

The right butler would make sure you lifted without ever saying anything. "James, today I'll be taking it easy." [arches eyebrow] [very british voice] "Indeed, sir." "... never mind, fetch my lifting trousers." "Very good, sir."
