yep, I believe it! but that does not mean that just bc something is heritable it regresses to the mean, or that all beliefs and values are genetic

The practical point here is that the US couldn't even assimilate people from the same island without using penalties of kidnapping and sterilization. "just assimilate the immigrants lol" is both as politically difficult, and the same type of action, as "just annex Canada lol"
