What is "snitch-tagging"?

Replying to a tweet with the @ of some asshole who will then attack the tweeter. The person snitched to is usually some cop, prohibitionist or "authority" like "trust and safety" busybodies, and may have a horde of minions who will mob the original tweeter.

A few weeks ago someone snitch-tagged one of my anti-cop tweets to some pig with a lot of young male followers (nearly all with fewer than 10 followers themselves). Sometimes people snitch-tag TO me in the mistaken idea that I'll go argue with a stranger for them.
