I am very very angry at the left re this particular debate. "I used it to mean X" + "I used it to mean Y" could yield "huh. That's odd. Let me gather more data." but, no, it leads to "HE IS A PROVEN, STONE-FACED LIAR". Somehow I'm more worked up about this than the rest of it

it's new to me too but I buy "screw up" because it's got a plausible onomatopoeia to it and I'm inclined to believe "buttfuck" bc it's in the venerable pattern of "fuck" terms evolving into "fuck up" terms & yr take-home is ofc 100% correct in this and all other cases
