About 30 years ago I started arguing that anyone landing a hot air balloon in your yard is trespassing. About 25 years ago I realized that I should advertise "balloon landing field services - just $1,000" Today I read this:https://www.reddit.com/r/legaladvice/comments/9gjbxq/mn_someone_landed_their_hot_air_balloon_in_my/ …
initiating X where there is a 99% chance that X will result in trespass is bad if we want to talk about some theoretical world where X does not have a 99% chance of tresspass...sure, that theoretical world sounds good

Given that the normal, routine, every-day occurrence is that they ask permission before landing and don't land without permission, I'd say 99% is pretty far off base.
