Pick a style and stick to it. I've been doing the same thing for at least as long. Find a shirt I like and buy five. Find pants I like and buy three. Never have to think about what I'm going to wear, cept for weddings and funerals (and that's the same black suit.)

Always mildly bemused by these pieces that take personal frugality and rebrand it as environmentalism like, the net ecological impact of buying more clothes is not going to be huge, they just can't appeal to the old grounds for virtue, so have to rephrase in modern idiom

It's what most people did thru most of history. Clothing required a $#!^load of work to make, very costly. Little room to store & transport it too. Today? Can go buy a complete outfit for 1 hour of minimum wage work. Why? CAPITALISM.
