I'm a retired publisher, now an indie author. Traditional publishers aren't lazy. They're going broke. It's an insular culture that won't leave expensive city cores and doesn't know how to embrace ebooks. They're still yearning for the return of the 1990s. Ain't gonna happen.

I can't quote precise numbers at this point because I don't yet have a POD print edition of *The Cunning Blood.* But I seriously doubt if print is over 8% of my unit sales, maybe less.
